“All I had to eat in the house were five sachets of ketchup, so I ate them.”
We are a Christian charity seeking to serve the Church as it serves our City.
As an independent and non-denominational Christian Mission we work with all flavours of Church in the City. This means we are well placed to join people together, see gaps when they arise, encourage networks of different groups and help weave some of the different threads of God’s Kingdom together in Southampton.
Our main works are delivering Christian schools work across the City and providing emergency food and clothes to those in need in Southampton.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at different venues, from 10am to 3pm we are serving those in need with up to five days of food. Clients need to have a valid voucher from one of our referral agent partners in order to receive help.
Monday 10am to 3pm the clothes bank is open at Central Hall for clients with a voucher to come, browse and choose clothes for them and their family.
With assemblies, all day programs and week long programs, for a class, a year group or a whole school, we work alongside staff in over 35 primary schools to help them deliver the Christian education parts of their curriculum.
Everything we do depends upon our generous volunteer team. There are many varied and diverse roles available for people to join in and help out.
